Change the refresh interval for "manage full access permissions"?
Hello,I'm doing some testing of custom software thatinteracts with Exchange Server 2007 SP1 and Exchange Web Services.Part of the testing involves making sure the software cangracefully handle when it doesn't have full access permissions to a user's mailbox:that it reportsthe error to an administrator and does retries until the administrator grants the full accesspermissions. To manage full access permissions, I'm using the Exchange Management Console "Microsoft Exchange->Recipient Configuration->Mailbox" right click on Mailbox in the list, and choose "Manage Full Access Permission..." in the pop-up menu.I read in the following thread the refresh interval is two hours.http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvradmin/thread/3b8abdbc-d5a5-46c7-8fc8-4a48c9b116d0/Restarting theExchange Information Store service only works some of the time to force the permissions to refresh. Sometimes I have to reboot the Exchange Server machine in order to get the permissions to refresh (rebooting the machine takes around 15 minutes). This is really slowing down my testing.I tried creating the "Mailbox Cache Age Limit" and "Reread Logon Quotas Interval" registry entriesinHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystemand set them to 1 minute each, and rebooted the Exchange server machine,as described in the link belowhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/326252However, that did not seem to have any impact on the "full access permisisons" refresh interval.Does anyone know how to configure the refresh interval for "full access permissions"?Thanks,Greg

Hi, Please note that the permission granted can't be taken effect until the cache on information store refreshes. By default the refresh interval is two hours, or we can force refreshing the cache by restarting Exchange Information Store service. Besides, we can change the refresh interval for the mailbox information cache by modifying the Reread Logon Quotas Interval value in the registry for the MicrosoftExchange Information Store service. The Reread Logon Quotas Interval value depends on the Directory Service Access (DSAccess) cache and the mailbox information cache. Therefore, you must configure the CacheTTLUser and Mailbox Cache Age Limit values as well. Detail steps you can follow article below: Mailbox Size Limits Are Not Enforced in a Reasonable Period of Time http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb684892.aspx Regards, Xiu
